Tour Highlights

This 10 day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech is ideal if you really want to feel the inner Moroccan culture and wildlife nature at its fullest.

We will start our journey in Casablanca, where on the way we will have the opportunity to stop at Meknes discovering the sacred mosque of Hassan II and sample local wine, olives and mint tea. Furthermore, we will continue our tour to the imperial city of Fez to discover the Royal Palace. Close by is the Roman ruins of Volubilis, where we will tour the medina with a local chef handpicking natural ingredients for a typical cooking class.

We will head to Marrakech, where we will wander through the streets of Djemaa el Fna full of snake charmers, astrologers and hundred of dining options. We will immerse in the Moroccan culture with a private tour to the local souq, Bahia Palace and the Maison de la Photographie. Similarly, we will have the opportunity to float over the Sahara dunes, Atlas Mountains & palm tree groves on a hot air balloon.

Our last two nights, will be spent in the gateway and entrance of the High Atlas Mountains, which is Ourika Valley. The valley constantly keeps changing landscapes from February to April, when almond and cherry orchards bloom and wildflowers start to flourish. We will have the opportunity to discover the natural wildlife surroundings checking out natural waterfalls and visiting local Berber villages.

Tour Itinerary

  • DAY 1: CASABLANCA

    Marrakech’s largest city is the ideal place to start your journey, where you will be greeted by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel.

    The first day is a introduction day, sample your first mint teas and enjoy a relaxing hammam at the hotel before a group dinner at Rick’s Café.

  • DAY 2: MEKNES - FEZ

    We will explore Morocco’s largest mosque, the Hassan II Mosque and explore Casablanca.

    Furthermore, we will depart for Fez, stopping at Meknes on the way to wander the markets and sample olives, wine and mint tea.

  • DAY 3: FEZ

    This day will consist of an adventure exploring the ancient city of Fez, including the tanneries and Royal Palace of Fez.

    We will stop at the medina for a lunch break before your tour leader hands suggestions on places to visit so that you can make your own discoveries.

  • DAY 4: VOLUBILIS

    Today we will tour the medina with a local Moroccan chef, gathering natural ingredients for a cooking class.

    Dine on the fruits of your labour and taste the original flavours of Morocco.

    In the afternoon, we will visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Enjoy sunset drinks and nibbles before an evening of leisure.

  • DAY 5: MARRAKECH

    We will drive to Marrakech early in the morning to check out a refurbished 19th century Moroccan hotel.

    You’ll feel refreshed and rejuvenated after a visit to a traditional hammam bath.

    Spend your evening wandering through the streets of Marrakech with snake charmers, astrologers and acrobats of Djemaa el Fna square.

  • DAY 6: MARRAKECH

    The adventure in Marrakech starts today visiting local monuments and arabic buildings.

    Immerse yourself in the Moroccan culture with a private tour of the local souq, Bahia Palace and The Maison de la Photographie, a photography museum housing original photographs taken in Morocco between 1870 and 1950.

    The afternoon is up to you to wander around and discover the secrets of Marrakech. We will have dinner at Al Fassia, a restaurant run entirely by women.

     

  • DAY 7: MARRAKECH

    Our 7th day in Marrakech will consist of an early rise giving us the opportunity to have a different experience like floating above the palm tree groves, the dunes, the Sahara and the Atlas Mountains in a hot-air balloon.

    We will return to your hotel for breakfast before riding on our horse-drawn carriage ride to the Majorelle gardens. Dinner tonight will be at Le Foundouk.

  • DAY 8: OURIKA VALLEY

    We will depart to Ourika Valley, a gateway and entrance to the High Atlas Mountains.

    Ourika will be our home for the next two nights. The valley is constantly keeps changing landscapes from February to April, when almond and cherry orchards bloom and wildflowers start to flourish. Ourika will be our for the next two nights.

    Today will be a free-day to make your own discoveries and further explore the valley. Visit nearby waterfalls like Ouzoud waterfall or simply relax by the swimming pool and enjoy the natural wildlife surroundings of Marrakech.

  • DAY 9: OURIKA VALLEY

    Our penultimate day in Marrakech will be spent searching for souvenirs at the Monday Market in Tnine Ourika before setting off on an afternoon trek in the mountains with a local mountain guide.

    We will cross Berber villages and olive groves before having a picnic lunch and tea with a local Berber family in their house.

  • DAY 10: MARRAKECH

    The last day of your Moroccan adventure with us.

    Your 10 day tour ends after breakfast this morning, where you will be transferred to the airport for your flight.
